Great value cottage for fishing, kayaking and campfire! The common washroom and showers are very well maintained and do not smell at all. The owner, Sharon, is very kind and attentive.
The kayaks are very fun. There's 2 kayaks for 5 cottages so not the most. We came here during the week and only 2 of the cottages were occupied, so we got to try out the kayaks. It was too windy for me but my dad managed to kayak and have lots of fun.
In a nearby drive there's a O'Hara Mill and Conservation Area which was quite interesting, a glimpse of life back in the day.
Around a 40 minutes drive away, we also visited the Tyendinaga Caves, which were interesting to join a tour and explore. You might have to call ahead to reserve a tour spot though, but we just walked in as it was a weekday.
A small problem was that the firewood sold there was a bit wet so our campfire kept smoking, but it was not too hard to start and maintain, and we had fun making the campfire.
